Senior Site Manager – Residential New Build Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a leading residential developer, managing a high-quality new build housing scheme of 115 new homes based in Cambridge.

You’ll be responsible for leading the site team, managing the full construction process from groundworks through to handover, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the company’s exacting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on a large-scale residential development.
• Manage all aspects of construction including subcontractors, materials, health & safety, and programme delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and local authorities.
• Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and site health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager running similar-sized residential new build projects (100+ units).
• Strong background with a housebuilder or residential developer.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications.
• Demonstrable stable work history with reputable employers.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
